This Term: Means:
1779ĆKP5 Both the 1779ĆKP5 and 1779ĆKP5R modules unless otherwise
noted.
Data Highway Plus Formerly the Peer Communications Link (PCL)
Node The point at which devices, such as programmable controllers,
interface to the network. Usually, the node is an interface
module (except for the PLCĆ5 and T50 terminal which connect
directly to Data Highway Plus).
In some AllenĆBradley documentation, you may find the term
station used in place of the term node.
PLC Programmable Logic Controller: A generic term for any of
AllenĆBradley's PLC product lines (such as PLCĆ2, PLCĆ3, etc.).
T50 The T50 Industrial Terminal (Cat. No. 1784ĆT50).
