Installation:
1. Park the vehicle on a level concrete or asphalt surface with the front tires / wheels pointing
straight forward.
2. Set the emergency brake & block the rear tires / wheels.
3. Place the new boot onto the new Skyjacker steering stabilizer, but do not secure the new boot
with the supplied plastic tie at this time.
4. Install both of the new Skyjacker brackets onto each end of the new Skyjacker steering stabilizer
using the supplied bushings & washer packs.
5. Pull the new Skyjacker steering stabilizer shaft out EXACTLY half-way & mount the new steering
stabilizer in place using the supplied u-bolts (5/16" x 1 1/4" x 2 1/4" around the OEM track bar &
5/16" x 1" x 2 1/4" around OEM tie rod assembly) (See Photo # 1)
Note: Be sure the new Skyjacker passenger side bracket is located directly below the OEM tie
rod clamp. (See In Arrow Photo # 1) After brackets are in position, tighten the U-bolts.
6. Turn the front tires / wheels fully to the left & right to make sure the new Skyjacker stabilizer is
adjusted properly & secure the new Skyjacker boot to the new Skyjacker steering stabilizer using
the supplied plastic tie.
