Installation:
1. Secure and properly block the rear tires of vehicle on a level con-
crete or asphalt surface.
2. Raise the vehicle from the front center cross member and remove
tires and wheels. (See Photo #1)
3. Disconnect outer tie rod from steering knuckle using tie rod puller.
4. Disconnect the lower strut mount from the lower A-Arm. Remove
bolt. Disconnect sway bar end links (See Photo #2).
5. Disconnect the Upper A-Arm ball joint from the top of the steering
knuckle. (See Photo #3). It will be necessary to use a ball joint
tool.
6. Remove the upper four strut mounting bolts from the upper frame
mount. Remove strut.
7. Attach the new upper coil over mount to the factory position on the
frame. Attach using the (4) 7/16 x 1" fine thread bolts, washers
and nuts. (See Photo #4)
8. Assemble Skyjacker Coil Over as shown in Photo #5. Be sure to
use the larger step bushing on one side at the lower mount. Install
so that coil over is moved away from the CV shaft. (See Photo #6.
6. Install new coil over assembly. Bolt upper portion to frame using the
1/2 x 2 1/2" hardware. Attach lower mount using the 5/8 x 7 1/2
hardware. (See Photo #7) Re-attach upper ball joint.
7. Re-attach sway bar end link and outer tie rod.(May need to adjust
tie rod to re-attach) With all parts attached, torque all fasteners to
factory specs. Install tires and lower vehicle to the ground.
