Do not use remote hydraulic system
pressures over 3000 psi (20684 kPa). Check
your tractor Operator’s Manual for remote
system pressure.

a. Ensure hoses are routed through guide (E) to
provide proper hose arc as shown.
b. Connect two steering cylinder hoses (A) as
follows:

e. Connect the mower conditioner wiring harness
connector (D) to tractor. The connector is
designed to fit tractors equipped with a round
7-pin receptacle (SAE J560).
IMPORTANT
Older model tractors will have Pin #4 (F)
energized as an accessory circuit. The
R85 mower conditioner uses this pin
position (G) for brake lights.
Check that Pin #4 in the tractor receptacle
is not constantly energized - see tractor
Operator’s Manual, and remove the
appropriate fuse if required.
