Alternative: Windows Explorer - on "Directory/file" level
Tip!
In case no (executable) controller is available, or if the controller does not start in a faultless
manner, the »Backup & Restore« functions can be executed via an Explorer (like for
example the Windows Explorer).
Only create a backup if the controller is executable.
How to carry out a backup using the Windows Explorer:
1. Insert a USB stick into an Engineering PC.
2. Start an Explorer.
3. Change to the directory:
Copy the Backup.xml file.
4. Store this file one folder higher:
Note: If there is a Restore.xml file in this directory it has to be deleted.
