DISASSEMBLE, FORWARD & STORE
Disassemble
Turn item OFF and disconnect mains plug.
Transportation and store
1. Store item and its components in the original box to avoid damage in transit. Close box with
adhesive tape.
2. Store item in a dry place.
Caution: avoid shocks an vibration in transit.
DISPOSAL
For disposal, please comply with your local or national regulations.
Split by metal, plastic, etc.
Packing material to be treated as described above (material split).
TROUBLESHOOTING
Vacuum pumps
defect found reason correction
pump won't run or
starts running and
stops right away
 electricity missing, voltage too
low ?
 overpressure in exhaust line?
 motor overload?
 check voltage, connect
electricity
 open exhaust line.
 allow motor to chill, check for
reason, turn ON again
low suction power  centering ring not seated
correctly
 long, thin line?
 condensate in pump?

 deposits in pump ?
 diaphragm and valves broken?
 emission of gas, vapor in
process ?
 check pump check fittings. line
and recipient
 increase cross section.
 run pump with intake stud
open for a minute
 clean and check pump heads
 replace diaphragm and/or
valves
 check process parameters
pump noisy  sucks at atmospheric
pressure ?
 cocking disc loose?
 none of the above reasons
found ?
 install hose on exhaust end
 maintain diaphragm pump
 ship pump for repair.
