Lift edge of diaphragm and carefully introduce cocking disc
and back-up ring in special tool.
Avoid damage of diagram: do not kink diaphragm until
showing light-colored lines on the surface.
Check for shims originally installed, do not remove, re-
install same number.
Insufficient number of shims: pump won't reach final
pressure; too many shims: pump running noisy.
Install pump heads
Correct location of the square-head screw of the
cocking disc in the slot of the back-up disc is of
importance.
Screw diaphragm, cocking disc and back-up ring with
piston rod.
Insert shims between back-up ring and piston rod as
required.
Locate diaphragms in a central and plain position on the
housings cut-out.
Lay down pump and support as required.
Install cover and valves.
Check for proper location (refer to fig.)
