Inspection and service
Warning!
Loss of the safety function because of damage to the system.
In case of damage, the related component must be replaced completely. The
replacement of individual parts of a component is not allowed.
Regular inspection of the following is necessary to ensure trouble-free long-term
operation:
Ì Check the switching function
Ì Check the secure fastening of the devices and the connections
Ì Check for deposits and wear
Ì Check for loose cable connections or plug connectors.
Check the safe function of the safety guard particularly
Ì after any setup work
Ì each time after the replacement of an MGB module
Ì after an extended period without use
No servicing is required; repairs to the device are only allowed to be made by the
manufacturer.
Note:
The device's year of manufacture can be seen on the rating plate at the lower right.
Only the last two digits of the year of manufacture are specified.
