Example 2: Per User Bandwidth Control
In this example, the WLA-9000AP is Access Point mode. There is a wireless client
connecting to WLA-9000AP with MAC address of 00:04:6F:11:11:11. We want to
limit the bandwidth of the wireless client to 1024 downstream and 512K upstream
using WLA-9000AP’s Per-User Bandwidth Control.
Step 1.
Enable Bandwidth Control and select “Per User Bandwidth Control”
Step 2.
Enter Description for this policy (Wireless Client)
Step 3.
Select “MAC Address”, then enter the MAC address of the wireless client.
Step 4.
Enter the downlink speed as “1024” and uplink speed as “512”.
Step 5.
Click on “Add” button to add the bandwidth policy
Step 6.
This new policy should appear on the button. You can enable/disable it.
