NOTE: By pressing the left or right arrows in this screen, you
may view the output of each sensor.
g. Pull and hold the red re-leveling knob on the
hydraulic tank while lifting the tower boom.
Raise the tower boom six (6) feet or two (2)
meters. After elevating the tower the required
distance, press "ENTER" .
If the UMS did not detect adequate sensor activ-
ity, the screen will display:
Should you get the above message, verify that
the sensor is installed correctly and verify the
sensor connection to the sensor harness is
secure. Also, ensure the red knob is held fully
open for the required time.
If the calibration is executing properly, you shall
see the following display:
h. When viewing the above display, press "ENTER"
. The screen will display the following:
i. Lower the tower boom onto the boom stop.
Continue to hold the tower boom down function
for an additional twenty (20) seconds WITHOUT
RELEASING THE FUNCTION SWITCH. The
calibration must recognize continuous activation
of the tower down function switch for the
required time.
