Setting up the host table
The Console Server needs to know the hostnames and internet addresses of the other
hosts in the network (or any hosts anywhere on the Internet) which you want to
communicate with on a regular basis. For example, gateways, RADIUS, servers and
so on. These hostnames are added to the unit’s Host Table. You can add up to twenty
hosts. To do this;
1.
From the Main menu, select ‘Network Configuration’.
The Network Configuration menu is now displayed.
2.
Within the Network Configuration menu, select ‘Host Table’;
The Host Table menu will be displayed:
You can now add (

) a host as required.
Adding a Host
To add a host (cli syntax add host):
1.
Within the Host Table menu, select ‘Add Host’ from the Host Table menu; this
option enables you to add the hostname of a host to the host table.
You will be asked to enter the hostname:
