1.3.1 Roles of each component
(1) Agent
If a fault is detected in the Agent machine, the Agent reports it to the Management Proxy. Also, upon
receipt of an information acquisition request from the Management Proxy, the Agent returns the
requested information. A computer can be monitored by the Agent if it satisfies the requirements
shown in the operating environment section. The HEW Agent must be installed for use in the Agent
machine.
