Appendix 2 Management Proxy Add/Delete Tool
The Management Proxy Add/Delete Tool can be used to add or delete a Management Proxy name in
the settings for the initial screen display. When a Management Proxy that can be connected to via a
web browser is defined, the tool creates an HTML file for connection to the Management Proxy.
1 Starting the Tool
If the HEW manager function is installed in the C:\HEW folder, then the Management Proxy
Add/Delete Tool (mpreg.exe) is stored in C:\HEW\Manager. Activate this command to start the tool.
2 Using the Tool
When the tool starts, the following screen is displayed.

Item Explanation
[New Management
Proxy name] edit box
A Management Proxy name to be added can be specified.
The Management Proxy name can consist of up to 255 bytes.
[Add] button Clicking this button adds the Management Proxy name specified in the edit
box to the list box. Up to 256 Management Proxy names can be added.
[Management Proxy
entry] list box
The Management Proxy name to be added to the HTML file is displayed.
[Delete] button Clicking this button deletes the Management Proxy name selected in the list
box.
[OK] button Clicking this button creates an HTML file based on the Management Proxy
names displayed in the list box.
[Cancel] button Clicking this button cancels processing.
