Trap transmitting to a Compaq Insight Manager function
If a fault occurs in MAGNIA server, it is possible to transmit a SNMP trap to a Compaq Insight
Manager. A SNMP trap is transmitted when the fault about temperature, FAN and Voltage in your
MAGNIA server occurs. In order to confirm this function, it is necessary to specify by the Local
Configuration Tool.

Auto-shutdown function (ASD function)
This function enables automatic execution of the sequence from shutting down the OS through to
turning OFF the power by operating the power/sleep button of the MAGNIA server. This function is
supported only on the MAGNIA Z300 / MAGNIA Z310.

Enterprise Associated function
When some faults occur in the server, faults can be informed to each of the managers of Compaq
Insight Manager (XE), OpenView and Tivoli.
