Battery pack The battery pack powers the computer when
the AC adaptor is not connected. For detailed
information on the battery pack, refer to
Chapter 6, Power .
Battery release

Slide and hold this latch to release the battery
pack for removal.

Hard Disk Drive 1 This cover protects a hard disk drive pack, which
can be removed and reinstalled. For more
information on how to remove or reinstall the
Hard disk drive pack , refer to Chapter 9, Optional
Devices .
Hard Disk Drive 2 If your model has two hard disk drives, this cover
protects the secondary Hard disk drive pack.
The secondary pack can be removed and
reinstalled. For more information on how to
remove or reinstall the Hard disk drive pack,
refer to the section on the Hard disk drive pack in
Chapter 9, Optional Devices .
