S Handle the individual parts of the cylinder with care so that the sealing edges
and the guide surfaces are not damaged (e.g. by using suitable mounting aids).
Particulary burrs on sealing surfaces can reduce operational reliability.
If the piston rod is distorted:
S Send the piston rod together with the screwed−on piston to Festo.
S Observe the following points when fitting the cylinder together again:
ć Use a locking agent on all screwed parts.
ć Lubricate the moving parts or specified parts with the lubricating grease
supplied.
ć The environment must be clean.
