3. Fasten the block to the motherboard 4. Install the tubing
For optimal performance, it is critical to orient the water-block properly
relative to the socket. As illustrated above, the waterblock North-South
axis should always be perpendicular to the socket locking lever. You should first positively identify the flow direction in your cooling
system. The coolant should enter the water-block inlet port which is
identified by a circular indentation in the housing next to it.
Once oriented, progressively and alternatively (in a cross pattern) fasten
the 4 screws until they bottom out. Last, fasten the tubing with the provided hose-clamps. The installation is
now complete!

Loosen & remove the 4 socket head screws using
the allen wrench provided with your Apogee™
GTZ Lift the hold-down plate screw-spring assembly,
and set the Apogee™ GTZ aside Slightly press down on the plate and remove
the clips with long nose pliers

Remove and set aside the socket 775 hold-down
plate Place the existing screw-spring assemblies into
the socket 1366 hold-down plate mounting
holes Slightly press down on the plate and install
all 4 clips with long nose pliers
