Installing the PowerBlade PBC18 on a Desktop
This section explains how to install the chassis on a desktop. To install the
chassis in a rack, refer to “Installing the PowerBlade PBC18 in a Rack” on
page 14.
For desktop installation, perform the procedure below:
1. Remove all the items from the shipping package and store the packaging
material in a safe location. In case you need to return the chassis to Allied
Telesyn, you will need to ship the unit back using as much of the original
packaging material as possible.
2. Place the chassis upside down on a level, secure surface.
3. Attach one of the rubber feet to each corner of the chassis, then turn the
chassis right side up. See Figure 6.

Caution
Power cord is used as a disconnection device: To de-energize
equipment, disconnect the power cord. (AC model only.)
