Overview

The AT-MR908TX hub is an economical and reliable Fast Ethernet 100
Megabits per second (Mbps) device with eight (8) 100BASE-TX ports. A
MDI/MDI-X slide switch on the back panel lets you select Port 1 to cascade two
hubs together for network expansion.

Network Cascade Expansion. Network expansion means that any two hubs may
be cascaded through Port 1 of one hub in one stack to any port (other than Port
1) on any hub in a second stack. This process allows a single network
workgroup to support as many as 94 workstations.

Stacked Hub Configuration. A fully populated stack will support six hubs. Using
ATI’s optional stacking module, a stack of six units can be physically
connected while logically appearing to be a single hub — with additional ports.
In a fully populated stacked hub configuration, your 100 Mbps network will
support as many as 48 network nodes or devices.

AT-MR908TX hubs are fully compliant with IEEE 802.3u standards for 100
Mbps baseband networks. They are also easy to install. There are neither DIP
switches to set nor software to load. You simply plug in the power cord and
connect your 100BASE-TX station ports.
