Connecting the Ground Wire
To connect the ground wire, perform the following procedure:
1. Prepare an adequate length of 14AWG stranded grounding wire for the
ground connection.
2. Strip 0.25 in. (.635 cm) of insulation from the ground wire and crimp it
into the ground wire ring lug.
3. Secure the ring lug on the stud with a washer and #10-32 Kepnut, as
shown inFigure 50.

4. Trim and connect the other end of the ground wire to any ground point
according to National Electrical Codes.
