The Camcorder : Basic Recording
✤ When you have recorded something that you wish to keep, you can protect from being
accidentally erased .
a. Protecting a Cassette:
Push the Write Protect Tab on the cassette so that the hole is uncovered.
b. Removing Cassette Protection:
If you no longer wish to keep the recording on the cassette, push the Write Protect Tab back so
that it covers the hole.
✤ Avoid places with magnets or magnetic interference for cassette tape storage. Electromagnetic
fields may affect the recordings.
✤ Avoid humid and dew prone places.
✤ Keep the cassette in an upright position and avoid storing it in direct sunlight.
✤ Avoid dropping your cassette tapes.
