The Camcorder : Preparation
Setting the Power Switch
✤ Use the Power Switch to select the working mode of the device.
1. OFF mode: Turn the device off. To recharge the Battery Pack
attached, connect the AC Power Adapter and cables while the
Power Switch is set to OFF.
2. REC mode: Record onto a cassette tape
3. PLAY mode: Play and edit the recorded cassette tape
4. (CAMERA) mode: Switches to Digital Still Camera mode. Set the Camera
Mode Dial to desired mode and you can take still images and save images
on a memory card.
✤ Switching to (CAMERA) mode by setting the Power Switch will activate the
Digital Still Camera Lens to pop out. Do not obstruct the lens when it is moving,
as it may damage the mechanism.
