NOTE: Your company network must be running Microsoft Exchange 2003 Server SP2 or

later with Exchange ActiveSync.

Set up and use Windows Mobile Device Center if you

have a Windows Vista® computer.

1.

Connect your wireless device to your PC. Windows

Mobile Device Center configures itself and then

opens.

2.

On the license agreement screen, click Accept.

3.

On the Windows Mobile Device Center’s home

screen, click Set up your device.

4.

Select the information types that you want to

synchronize then click Next.

5.

Enter a device name and click Set Up.

When you finish the Setup Wizard, Windows Mobile

Device Center synchronizes your wireless device

automatically. The Getting Started CD that comes with

your wireless device contains Microsoft ActiveSync

4.5 or later. Follow the steps below to install and set

up ActiveSync on Windows XP or other compatible

Windows systems.

Press down on the corners of the battery cover to

snap into place.

Using Personal Information Tools (PIM)

Windows Mobile® Device Center and ActiveSync

NOTE: Windows Mobile Device Center is for Vista and Activesync is for Windows 2000/XP.

Synchronize information, which includes Outlook
email, contacts, calendar, tasks, notes, web favorites,
document files and media, between your wireless
device and your PC. To keep you up to date with
your corporate emails and information, you can also
synchronize your wireless device with the Exchange
Server at your work.
