The Basics
Home screen
The Home screen is the starting point for using the
applications or widgets on your phone.

Widget Bar: Contains
user-selectable widgets
such as Analog and Digital
Clock, Calendar, and
Shortcuts. Touch the Widget
Bar tab to open and close
the bar.

Left Soft key function:
Presents commands based
on the status or open
application.

Start: Touch Start to
display Main Menu for
access to applications,
Settings and Task Switcher.

Annuciator Line: Displays
the active program, and
icons to show Connectivity,
Phone status, Ring/Volume,
and Power status. Touch
the icons to quickly access
Wireless Manager, Volume,
and Power Settings.

ERI Banner: Displays
“Verizon Wireless” when
the device is activated and
functioning in the Verizon
Wireless Home Network.

Home screen Indicator:
Indicates which panel of the
home screen is displayed.

Widget Bar Tab: Touch to
close or display the widget
bar.

Event Status Bar:
Presents notification of
text, multimedia and
e-mail messages, voice
mails and missed calls.
Touch an icon to launch the
application.

Right Soft key function:
Presents commands based
on the status or open
application.
