Dialing a Recent Number
All incoming, outgoing and missed calls are recorded in the
Recent calls log. If the number is saved in Contacts, the
contact name also displays.
1. From the Home screen, touch
Phone
➔
Recent.
2. Touch a recent call, and then touch
to make a call.
Making Emergency Calls
To make an Emergency Call:
1. Touch
Phone.
2. Enter 9-1-1 and touch
Call. During this type of
call, you will have access to the Speaker mode,
Keypad, and End Call features.
3. Touch
End call to exit this calling mode.
Making Calls Using S Voice
Place a call by speaking the name or number.
1. From the Home screen, touch
Phone
➔
S Voice.
2. Follow the prompts to speak a command. You can say
commands such as:
• Call
“Call Charlie mobile” or “Call Joe work”.
• Dial
for example, “Dial 555-123-1234”.
• Redial: Redial the last number called.
Tip: You can configure S Voice to launch by pressing
Home twice. From S Voice, touch
Menu
➔
Settings
➔ Open via the home key. The setting is off by
default.
