GPS 2500 RTK Setup
IMPORTANT: The following information is an all‐inclusive guide to setting the GPS 2500 up to run
RTK with an NTRIP modem. Read through the entire document and understand all the necessary
steps before proceeding and be sure to follow them step‐by‐step. Failure to do so may result in an
inoperable receiver.
Menu Firmware:
Menu firmware needs to be installed in GPS 2500 to allow the receiver to properly communicate with the
RTK application. Follow the procedure below:
1. Download and unzip Autoloader_A32x_v
x.x.xx.exe to your PC.
2. Power up the GPS 2500 and connect it to your PC.
3. Open the AutoLoader program and select the Com Port that the GPS 2500 is connected to as shown
in Figure 1.
4. Press the load button and the update process will begin as shown in Figure 2.
5. The process will take several minutes. DO NOT disconnect power during the update
6. You will receive a Load Complete message when the update is finished. Press OK.
7. To make sure the update was successful, check the top LED light on the GPS 2500. It should be solid
red. If it is blinking, the update was not successful and should be attempted again.
8. Press Exit to close the program.
