Install the processor air baffle
1. Install the processor air baffle.
2. Install the GPU cage (on page 23 )
3. Install the SFF hot-plug drive cage (" Install the hot-plug SFF drive cage " on page 17 ).
4. Install the shipping brackets and shipping plates (on page 19 ).
5. Install the server into the chassis (" Installing the server into the chassis " on page 31 ).
6. Connect the peripheral cables.
7. Power up the server (on page 15 ).
Remove the PCI/FlexibleLOM riser cage
1. Power down the server (on page 15 ).
2. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
3. Remove the server from the chassis (on page 15 ).
4. Remove the shipping brackets and shipping plates (on page 17 ).
5. Remove the SFF hot-plug drive cage (" Remove the hot-plug SFF drive cage " on page 16 ).
6. Remove the GPU cage (on page 20 ).
7. If an expansion board is installed, disconnect all cables connected to it.
8. Remove and/or loosen the screws securing the PCI/FlexibleLOM riser cage.
— Remove the screws on the left node
— Loosen the thumbscrews on the right node
9. Lift the cage to unseat it from the system board:
