Stripe Size The size of a logical drive stripe or group of data written to a physical drive in
kilobytes. It may be zero in some raid configurations.
•
OS Assigned Name displays the operating system name associated with this logical drive.
When the status is Rebuilding the following will be displayed to indicate the progress of the
operation.
◦ Percent Rebuild Complete displays the percent complete of the rebuild. When the value
reaches 100, the rebuilding process is complete. The drive array continues to operate in
interim recovery mode while the drive is rebuilding.
◦ Rebuilding Drive identifies the physical drive that failed. The logical drive is rebuilding
using a spare drive in place of this failed drive.
Spare Drives
A list of spare drives that may be used by this logical drive to replace a failed drive. Select one
of the listed spare drives to see more information about the drive.
Physical Drives
A list of physical drives that are members of this logical drive. Select one of the listed physical
drives to see more information about the drive.
SAS Tape Drive
Select a SAS tape drive from the SAS host bus adapter submenu to display the following information:

Model displays the model of the SAS tape drive.
•
Status shows the status of the tape drive selected.
OK—The tape drive is operating normally. ◦
◦ Offline—The tape drive is offline and can no longer return data. No further status is
available.
◦ Unknown—The Storage Agents cannot determine the status of this tape drive. You may
need to upgrade your driver software or Storage Agents.

Serial Number displays the serial number assigned to the tape drive. This value is based on
the serial number as returned by the device, but may have been shortened due to space
limitations. Use this item for identification purposes.
•
Firmware Version displays the firmware revision level of the SAS tape drive.
•
SAS Address displays the SAS address assigned to this tape drive. This item can be used for
identification purposes.
SAS Storage System
Select a storage system item from the SAS HBA submenu to display the following information about
storage systems.
•
Connection Type displays the type of drive enclosure or box. The following types of enclosures
are possible:
◦ SCSI Attached—This storage system is attached to the server through SCSI cable.
◦ SAS Attached—This storage system is attached to the server with a SAS cable.
◦ Unknown— The Storage Agents are unable to determine the type of connection.

Vendor displays the name of the vendor that produces this drive enclosure, or box type. Use
this information for identification purposes.
•
Model displays the model of the storage system. Use this information for identification purposes.
