Storage tab—Displays the user-defined application's storage space, including allocated space,
used space, free space, and the following storage allocation details:

Table 21 Storage tab: User-defined application properties

Value

Property

Path to the file directory on the application server where the user-defined
application data is saved by the user-defined application. The file dir-
ectory is located on the volume created on the iSCSI LUN that was ex-
ported by ASM to the application server.

Application Path

Communication protocol used to transfer data between the server that
hosts the user-defined application and your HP Storage System.

Protocol

Name of server that hosts the user-defined application.

Application Server Host Name

Name of the volume on the application server to which the user-defined
application saves its data. The volume resides on the iSCSI LUN (logical
disk) exported by ASM to the application server.

Application Server Volume -
Name

Status of the volume on the application server where the user-defined
application data is stored.

Application Server Volume -
Status

Indicates if user-defined application storage is configured with exclusive
storage. See

Table 5

on page 23 for more information.

Application Server Volume - Ex-
clusive Storage

The RAID level to which the user-defined application storage is con-
figured. See

Customizing RAID levels

on page 25 for more information.

Application Server Volume - RAID
Level

The RAID stripe size to which the user-defined application storage is
configured. See

Table 5

on page 23 for more information.

Application Server Volume - RAID
Stripe Size

Speeds up reads when enabled. This setting is determined by the stor-
age array, not ASM.

Application Server Volume - Read
Cache

Speeds up writes when enabled. This setting is determined by the stor-
age array, not ASM.

Application Server Volume -
Write Cache

The number of hot spares with which the database component storage
is configured. See

Table 5

on page 23 for more information.

Application Server Volume -
Number of Hot Spares

Path the application server volume is mounted on. The volume is built
on the iSCSI LUN exported by ASM to the application server.

Warning Threshold tab—Allows you to change the percent full warning threshold value for the
user-defined application. See

Setting a percent full warning threshold

on page 26 for more inform-

ation.

Snapshots tab — Allows you to schedule snapshots of the user-defined application. For more in-
formation, see “

Scheduling and running snapshots

” on page 33.

Backup tab — Allows you to schedule backups of the user-defined application. See

Scheduling backups

” on page 36 for more information.

Replication tab — Allows you to configure data replication of the user-defined application. See
