Chapter Five - SCSI Bridge Electronics
5.10.2 Changing a Setting
Depending on the menu item, alter settings by using these methods. When the instruction reads
PRESS to Alter,
you have the option to exit the editing mode to review the settings.
Numeric-Entry Method
With this method you change settings by entering a decimal or hexadecimal number, digit-by-digit.
The LCD shows the instruction
PRESS to Incremnt
the alterable digit. The highlighted digit is
incremented by pressing the mode switch. If no switch activity occurs for four seconds, the next digit
to the right is highlight. When the highlight proceeds past the rightmost digit, the display shows
PRESS if Done
, allowing you to confirm the changes. If the numerical value requires additional
editing, do not press the mode switch. Wait until the highlight restarts at the leftmost digit and then
continue editing the setting.
