Installing the Tape Drive
This section includes:
Overview
Because the tape drives are shipped already in the tape enclosure, minimal
installation is involved unless you need to install spare drives in the enclosure.
Refer to
Servicing the Tape Drive on page 6-1 for instruction on installing or
removing a tape drive.
Attaching the Power Cord
1. Check that the power switch on the tape drive is set to 0 (OFF). See
Figure 2-1 .
2. Connect the power cord to the tape drive’s AC power receptacle.
3. Make sure the connector is fully seated.
