Stopping the Processes on the NonStop System
To stop the processes on the server, close the MLMM GUI and return to the TACL
prompt. Volume over to the location where the server files are installed.
Type “OBEY STOPALL” at the TACL prompt to stop the processes. A screen similar to
Figure 3-30 appears.
Once all of the processes have been stopped, type “OBEY STATUS” at the TACL
prompt to view all of the files again and make sure they have all stopped. If nothing is
returned, all processes have stopped. If a status has returned on any one or all the
processes, the files have not been stopped.
