50 Chapter 2 Basic copy module functions

Turning the copy module on
1 Turn on the power switch that is
located on the right rear side of the
copy module.
2 Make sure that the copy module key
is in the ON position.
Note
Keep the power switch and key in the ON
position at all times. Use the power
button specified in step 3 to turn the
system on and off. If the rear power
switch gets turned off, wait at least 5
seconds before turning it back on.
3 Press the power button located on
the right side of the copy module
control panel to turn the system on.
The green light beneath the power
button is lit when the power is on.
Note
This power button provides power to
both the copy module and the printer
unit. If you turn off the power using this
button, wait at least 5 seconds before
turning it back on.
