Custom Common settings
Administration (Additional) Functions allows you change the factory
default settings that effect the overall functionality of the copy module.
These settings can be modified in the Custom Common settings
menu. Items in this menu include:
! Audible tones
! Tray Eligibility for Automatic Paper Selection (APS)/Automatic
Tray (Drawer) Switching (ADS)
! Black Text Automatic Exposure Adjustment priority
! Text/Photo Priority in Black mode
! Energy Saver Adjustment
! Inch Entry
! Copy Tray settings
! Heavy Paper Tray
! Set System Settings Password
! Department ID Management
Audible tones
Setting this function in Administration (Additional) Functions allows
you to control the sounds available for various actions performed at
the copy module. There are three sounds that can be turned on or off.
! Entry tone indicates that a key on the control panel or a button
on the touch panel display has been pressed.
! Error tone indicates that a copy module malfunction has
occurred, such as a media jam or operational error.
! Job done tone indicates that a copy job has been completed.
Note The factory default setting for all tones is
ON
.
