Energy Saver Adjustment
Use Energy Saver Adjustment feature to determine the energy-saving
level for the Energy Saver mode. This mode can be adjusted to one of
the following increments:
! Return Directly to Standard Mode
! – 10%
! – 25%
! – 50%
The -10%, -25%, and -50% settings save energy in the respective
percentages when compared to the normal stand-by state. Return
Directly To Standard Mode saves energy by approximately 2% when
compared to the normal stand-by state.
When the energy saving level is increased, it adds to the period of
time required for the copy module to warm up and begin making
copies. The waiting time for each setting is as follows:
! -10% setting: Approximately 2 min.
! -25% setting: Approximately 2 min.
! -50% setting: Approximately 3 min. 20 sec.
Note The system will not return to the
READY
state if a print job is sent to
the system while in Energy Saver mode is enabled.
The factory default setting for Energy Saver Adjustment is -10%.
