Details Tab

This window lists details of some components for this controller:

Monitor, Kernel, BIOS versions—

These are the version

numbers of the different software components loaded on the
controller. For some controllers all three components may not
be present.

Hardware version—

The revision level of the controller

hardware.

Processor type and speed—

Information about the processor

fitted on the controller. This information is not available on
some controllers.

Channel Properties

Select a channel and then click Properties to bring up a dialog box
with a single tab containing the following information:

Type—

Indicates whether the selected channel is SCSI, ATA or

Serial ATA.

Max data rate—

The highest rate at which this channel can

transfer data, for example, 320 MB/s.

Physical Device Properties

If you select a device on a channel (other than an enclosure) and
then select Properties, a window with General, Capacity, SMART,
and LED tabs will appear.

General Tab

Status

—This field appears only for disk drives and it indicates

the current status of the drive. Possible values are: Optimal,
Failed, Phantom (not physically found), SMART Warning,
Unknown and Missing.

Type

—The class of device; for example: disk drive, CD-ROM,

scanner, or printer.

Product—

The name given to this device by its vendor.

Vendor

—The manufacturer of this device.
