Checking marks
You can click Mark List to display a list of all the shot- and event marks in a clip.

To jump to a marked position
Select from the mark list the shot- or event mark you want to check (
³
) and click Jump (

). The
playback position slider will jump to the selected mark and the marked frame will appear in the video
display area.

To delete a shot mark
Select from the mark list the shot mark you want to delete (
³
) and click Delete (

).
NOTES
•
Clip status marks (j, Z) can be added or deleted by editing the Status field in the Clip Properties
information window (0 26).
•
Event marks cannot be deleted.
Editing Metadata
Using XF Utility you can edit the User Memo profile and other metadata associated with clips and
delete custom picture files embedded within clips.
Editing the metadata associated with a clip
Although camera metadata fields are for informational purposes only and cannot be changed, you can
edit some of the metadata fields associated with a clip, such as the User Memo fields.
1.
In the clips panel, select the clip whose metadata you want to edit.

Click View > Clip Properties to display the clip properties’ window.

You can also control (^) -click on the clip in the clips panel and select Clip Properties from the
contextual menu that opens.

Edit the fields you want to change as explained below.

The icon displayed next to fields that were edited will change to
