4.1

How to Set Up the Basic Logging Application to Memory

This procedure shows you how to set up a basic logging session under manual start/stop control.

Logged data is saved to the instrument’s memory and can be down loaded to a PC at a later time. Both the flow
rate and totals will be logged

Setting up and starting the logging

1.

With the UFC operating in

FLOW READING

mode, check that the indicated flow units are
the same as those you want to appear on the
logger output (e.g.

l/min).

2.

Press the

Logger function key to access the

REAL TIME LOGGER screen.

3.

Select

Logging interval and enter the

required period (e.g.

10 seconds).

4.

Select

Clear log if you want to discard any

existing logging data.

5.

Select

START NOW.

Monitoring the last four log events as a table

1.

The

VIEW LOG AS TEXT screen displays the

log events in date-stamped chronological order.

2.

Press the

ENTER key to return to the REAL

TIME LOGGER screen. Then select Exit to
return to the

FLOW READING screen. Logging

will continue to take place in the background.

Monitoring the logged events at a later time

If you wish to monitor the logging progress at any time while you are operating in

FLOW READING mode, without

interfering with the logging operation:

REAL TIME LOGGER
Logging to SD card

Unit : l/min

Log name : Quickstart

Log data to : USB

Logging interval : 10 seconds

Start date & time : dd-mm-yy hh:mm:ss

Stop date & time : dd-mm-yy hh:mm:ss

View log as text

START NOW

Set Auto start

Clear log

Exit

VIEW LOG AS TEXT

Logging to SD card
