3.1.2 Changing the user language

If you want to change the user language at any time
after the instrument has been put into operation:

1.

Select

Setup Instrument from the MAIN

MENU then press ENTER.

2.

Select

Change Language from the SETUP

INSTRUMENT screen then press ENTER.

3.

Select the required language from the list
provided and press

ENTER.

4.

The instrument returns to the

MAIN MENU.

3.1.3 Changing the date and time

The correct date and time should have been set
when the instrument was initially put into service. To
update the date/time parameters:

1.

Set the required Date & Time as described in
Paragraph 3.1.1.

Using the Quick Start Menu

The Quick Start menu gathers various data for the site to be monitored and returns details of the transducer
configuration that must be applied when mounting the transducers on the pipe.

Before you can use the UFC system you need to obtain the following details (this information is required when
setting up the

Quick Start menu):

The pipe outside diameter.
The pipe wall thickness and material.
The pipe lining thickness and material (if any).
The type of fluid contained in the pipe being monitored.
The fluid temperature.

Entering the site data

1.

Select

Quick Start from the MAIN MENU and press ENTER. You will then be presented with a series of

screens in which to enter the data mentioned above.

2.

Select the dimension units (millimeters or
inches) used to measure the pipe, then press
ENTER.

SETUP INSTRUMENT

Set Date & Time : dd-mm-yy hh:mm:ss

Calibrate 4-20mA

Factory settings

Change Language

Exit
