5.3.2 Double Stack System Framing
NOTE: The System Cabinet is designed for use with 8" C-Channel.
Double stack framing provides for a two tier curtain system along the outside wall of building. Any two of
the systems in Table 2 may be used in the Double Stacked System. The curtain system attaches to
horizontal stringers. The bottom stringer should be at least 1 ft. (30 cm) above ground level. The middle
stringer must be installed at height D (see Table 3) above the top of the bottom stringer as shown in the
diagram above.
The top stringer should be installed at height C (See Table 3) above middle stringer as shown in the
diagram above. Pocket kits are available to enclose openings.
