6.5 Conduit Pipes & Curtains
There are two rods that fit into the pockets of curtain. 0.922" (2.3 cm) O.D. rod fits into the upper pocket
of curtain. The 1.9" (4.8 cm) O. D. rod fits into the lower pocket of the curtain.
1. Lay 0.922" (2.3 cm) O. D. rod in front of system. Unroll curtains. Slide 0.922" (2.3 cm) O. D. rod into top
pockets of curtains. Assemble rod/curtain for the entire length of system.
2. Fit curtain assembly underneath brackets of middle stringer of double stack system or top stringer of single
system. 0.922" (2.3 cm) rod should be flush against bottom of brackets as shown in diagram below. Align
ends of rod/curtain assembly with ends of system.
3. Attach 0.922" (2.3 cm) rod/curtain assembly to the stringer with conduit straps. IMPORTANT! Start
attaching curtain at one end and pull slack out as you go.
NOTE: Conduit straps should be located every 3 ft. (91 cm).
NOTE: Drive Pipe/Curtain should end 12" (30.48 cm) from Drive Cabinet. See Section 7.
