HELMET
HEAD SIZE ADJUSTMENT: HEADGEAR TIGHT-
NESSisadjustedbypushingintheRatchetKnoband
turningtoadjustforthedesiredheadsize.Thisknob
is located at the back of the helmet. HEADGEAR
CROWN ADJUSTMENT ismadebyadjustingforcom-
fortandsnappingthepinintotheholetolocksecurely
inplace.
TILT: Tiltadjustmentislocatedonrightsideofhelmet.
Loosentherightheadgeartensionknobandpushthe
top end of the adjustment lever outward until the
lever’s Stop Tab clears the notches. Then rotate the
lever forward or back to the desired tilt position. The
Stop will automatically engage again when released
lockingthehelmetintoposition.
FORE / AFT ADJUSTMENT: Adjusts the distance
betweentheuser’sfaceandlens.Fore/Aftadjustment
hasbeenpre-setatthefactory.Toadjust,loosenthe
outside tension knobs and slide forward or back to
desiredpositionandretighten.NOTE:Makesureboth
sidesareequallypositionedforproperoperation.
HELMET LENSES*
The helmet has an FMD (Face Mounted Display) on
theinside.TheseFMDlensesdisplaythevirtualenvi-
ronmenttotheuser.Eachlenscanbeshiftedleftor
right to align with the users eyes by applying gentle
pressure.Inaddition,thelensescanbeliftedupand
downaswellasshiftedforwardandbackforthebest
fit.Theusershouldmakesurethelensesareparallel
totheireyes.Keepthelensescleanatalltimes.See
CleaningandMaintenance Section D.
NOTE: *Condensation on lenses may appear in high
humidity environment. Run FMD for approxi-
mately 10 minutes to clear up moisture from
thelenses.
