IDE D EFAULT
Configures SATA devices as normal IDE device.
Î RAID Configures SATA devices as RAID device.
Î AHCI Configures SATA devices as AHCI device.
Î IDE Master and IDE Slave
When entering setup, BIOS auto detects the presence of IDE devices. BIOS displays the
status of the auto detected IDE devices. The following IDE devices are detected and are
shown in the IDE Configuration menu:
ƒ Primary IDE Master
ƒ Primary IDE Slave
ƒ Secondary IDE Master
ƒ Secondary IDE Slave
ƒ Third IDE Master
ƒ Fourth IDE Master
ƒ Fifth IDE Master
ƒ Fifth IDE Slave

secondary IDE device details and configure the IDE devices connected to the system.
