11. AUTOMATIC RESTART
In the event of a prolonged power outage, the UPS turns itself off automatically after
the batteries have been exhausted. You can instruct the P
OWER + SA to start up
automatically when the AC power is restored. This feature is called automatic restart.
If you do not use the automatic restart procedure, when the AC power returns the
recharging process begins automatically, but no power is supplied to the load.
Determining the current automatic restart setting
To determine if the automatic restart mode is on or off, go to the PROFILE screen
To see the UPS Profile screen, from the Main Screen, press the Down button once.
The Profile screen shows the current Automatic Restart status.
Changing the automatic restart status
1. From the Main Screen, press the Ent button to display the Main Menu.
2. On the MAIN MENU, select ADVANCED MENU and press Ent.
3. On the ADVANCED MENU, select AUTOMATIC RESTART and press ENT.
4. Press Ent to change the automatic restart status.
