7. BATTERY TESTS
Automatic battery test
The P OWER + SA is programmed to perform a battery test automatically every two
weeks.
Manual battery test
To perform a battery test outside of the above-stated schedule (a “manual” battery
test):
1. From the Main Screen, press the Ent button to display the Main Menu.
2. On the Main Menu select Battery Test and press Ent.
3. The resulting screen tells you the time until the next scheduled automatic
battery test. To perform a manual test, press Ent again.
The battery test lasts for 60 seconds. The screen shows a countdown of the time
remaining in the test. To end the test immediately, press Ent again.
If the P OWER + SA batteries fail a battery test, the battery failure icon
appears on the P OWER + SA screen and remains there until a later battery test
is passed.
