DSCP-based Priority Setting
The Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP) is a six-bit field in the IP header, allowing coding for up to 64
different forwarding behaviors. The DSCP replaces the ToS bits, but it retains backward compatibility with the
three precedence bits so that non-DSCP-compliant, ToS-enabled devices will not conflict with the DSCP
mapping. Based on network policies, different kinds of traffic can be marked for different kinds of forwarding.
Note that all the DSCP values that are not specified are mapped to priority value 0.
Web Smart switch interface
To configure port-level DSCP remarking:
1. Click Configuration, QoS, DSCP-based Priority.
2. Map one or more DSCP values to a priority value.
3. Click Apply.

■
DSCP - List the DSCP values. (Range: 0-63)
■
Priority - Map a priority value to the selected DSCP Priority value.
Note that 0 represents low priority and 7 represent high priority.
■
DSCP Priority Table - Show the DSCP to Priority map.
