Failure to observe this operating manual and its operating instructions as well as unauthorized tampering
with the device release us from any liability and also invalidate the warranty covering the devices and
accessories!

2.1.
If exporting the system/device, observe any existing restrictions.
explosion protection approval
2.1.1.
The explosion protection approval is only valid if you use the modules and components authorized by Bürkert, as
described in these operating instructions.
The electronic modules may only be used in combination with the pneumatic valve types that have been approved
by Bürkert. Otherwise, the Ex approval will expire!
If you make unauthorized changes to the system, the modules or components, the explosion protection approval
will also be terminated.

2.2.
Do not supply the medium connectors of the system with aggressive or flammable mediums.

Do not physically stress the housing (e.g. by placing objects on it or standing on it).
•
Note that pipes and valves must not become detached in systems which are under pressure.
•
Before reaching into the system, always switch off the power supply!
•
Design the pressure supply with the largest possible volume to prevent a pressure drop when the system is
•
switched on.
