3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Basic Uses:
Linear Ceiling Systems are available for interior
or exterior use.
Composition & Materials:
Standard Offerings: Panels are roll-formed
from .032 (PVDF finish), .024 or .019 (Polyester
Finish) Aluminum.
Sizes and Profiles:
Panel widths may be 3 3/8”, 7 3/8” or
11 3/8”. Panel lengths may be from 4’ to 45’.
Panels may have a rounded edge (LCR) or a
box edge (LCB). They may be installed with or
without a recessed filler strip or a flush filler
strip.
Colors & Finishes:
In the .032 aluminum, there is a choice of
30 colors in the KYNAR 500® PVDF or HYLAR
5000® PVDF finish. (Request color chart or
chips.) In the .019 aluminum, the polyester
finish is available in 6 standard colors. In the
.024 aluminum, the polyester finish is available
in white only. A mirror bright finish is available
in .024 aluminum with round edge only. The
.032 aluminum is also available in clear and
dark bronze anodized.

5. INSTALLATION
A suspended ceiling carrier is pre-punched
and rollformed from prepainted .040
aluminum. The standard length of the carrier
is 12’. The carrier is suspended by wire or
strips, or attached directly to the substructure,
and the panel is snapped on the carrier,
with or without filler strips. Because of the
4” increments on the carrier, the different
size panels are interchangeable. 1/8” space
should be allowed between panels for
thermal movement along the panel length.
For acoustical efficiency, fiberglass insulation
may be placed across the top of the panels
between the carriers. Installation manuals

6. AVAILABILITY & COST
Availability:
Linear Ceiling Systems are readily available
through ATAS product distributors. Perimeter
trim, mouldings, etc. in matching or
coordinating colors are also available.

7. WARRANTY
Products coated with a fluoropolymer, KYNAR
500® PVDF or HYLAR 5000® PVDF finish carry
a thirty (30) year limited warranty against
chalking and fading.
8. MAINTENANCE
Linear Ceiling Systems are virtually
maintenance free. Surface residue may be
easily removed by conventional cleaning
methods. Minor scratches may be touched
up with a matching paint, available from the
manufacturer.
