3. PRODuCT DESCRIPTION
Basic Uses:
Short Rib Panel is a 1 ½” deep ribbed panel
that features six broad low and six narrow high
cells. This panel can be installed vertically
or horizontally on walls and used for roofing
applications.
Composition & Materials:
Standard Offerings: Short Rib Panel is roll-
formed from .032 and .040 Aluminum; 24
gauge Metallic Coated Steel; 24 gauge 55% Al-
Zn alloy Coated Steel with acrylic coating.
Special Offerings: 20 and 22 gauge Metallic
Coated Steel; 20 and 22 gauge 55% Al-Zn
alloy Coated Steel with acrylic coating may be
specified, subject to minimum quantities and
lead time.
Sizes:
Short Rib Panel has a 1 ½” high rib and is
36” wide. Panel lengths are cut to customer
specifications, with a minimum of 6’-0” and
maximum to transportation limitations and/or
product and project design considerations.
Colors & Finishes:
A choice of 30 stock colors is available in a
KYNAR 500® PVDF or HYLAR 5000® PVDF finish.
(Request color chart or chips). Texture may be
smooth or stucco embossed, depending on
gauge. Panels can be solid or perforated.

5. INSTALLATION
Installation is with direct fastening
methods. When used in roofing applications
special practices and restrictions apply.
Recommended minimum slope is 1 1/2:12.

6. AvAILABILITY & COST
Availability:
Short Rib Panel is available through ATAS
product distributors. A complete line of related
components and trim accessories
is available to complete the wall system. In
addition, a complete line of rainware and
perimeter roof edge trims can be supplied
by ATAS to complement the wall system. Flat
sheet and/or coil stock is available in matching
color for fabrication of related components by
the installing contractor.

7. WARRANTY
Products coated with a fluoropolymer, KYNAR
500® PVDF or HYLAR 5000® PVDF finish carry a
limited warranty against chalking and fading.
8. mAINTENANCE
The Short Rib Panel is virtually maintenance
free. Surface residue may be easily removed by
conventional cleaning methods. For painted
products, minor scratches should be touched
up with a matching paint, available from the
manufacturer.
