11. User functions

11.1 General

In addition to programming by SMS, you can also operate your GSM-Interface by
SMS commands. To ensure security, a 4-digit security code (default: 1234) is
required for access.
If this is not sufficient, you can also define that only the contacts stored in the device
are permitted to execute SMS commands (see programming of caller ID).

IMPORTANT:

-

For security reasons, a user code (default: 1234) must be entered in the
SMS command.

-

For SMS commands for exit and entry control, managing contacts and
resetting the SIM validity, you can receive an acknowledgement SMS from
the GSM-Interface. To obtain an acknowledgement, enter “!” after the user
code. Example: 1234 ! PO ON 1. The reply could be PO1 set (for
example).

-

You can use spaces in the SMS commands, but they not mandatory.

11.2 Output control

The 4 outputs are switched either by events or by SMS commands. You can, for
example, send an SMS command to switch an output to activate lights or gates.

Command SMS

structure

PO ON
Activate an output

“CODE” “PO” “ON” “Number”
Example: 1234 PO ON 1

PO OFF
Deactivate an output

“CODE” “PO” “OFF” “Number”
Example: 1234 PO OFF 1

11.3 Input control

The response of input control can be defined as either 24h type (always set) or
set/unset. You can change input control with an SMS command. If you select
set/unset, the default is unset and the input will not trigger a reaction if addressed.

Command SMS

structure

SET
Arm all inputs.

“CODE” “SET”
Example: 1234 SET

UNSET
Unset all inputs.

“CODE” “UNSET”
